Sri Lanka cricket team fast bowling coach for the West Indies tour, Chaminda Vaas has resigned from the post and other positions he has held under the Sri Lanka Cricket, reports say.
It is said that he has resigned over a payment dispute.
In addition to being the national team's fast bowling coach for the West Indies tour, Vaas is also a regular bowling coach of the Sri Lanka A team.
Earlier today, SLC announced that fast bowler - Lahiru Kumara has been tested positive for Covid-19 and it is said he would be replaced by Suranga Lakmal during the tour.
